I'm building another slot head tenor uke similar to the all-koa one I showed here last year and am looking for suggestions as to what tuning machines to use and where to get them. I believe the last time I was able to buy a set of 4 Waverly slot head tuners from Stew-Mac, but they are claiming they don't sell 4 for ukes. I know I can buy a guitar set, use only 4, and the next time I order a set I will end up with 2 ukulele sets, but it sure would be nice not to have to do it that way. I have searched the Internet and can't find anyone who makes/sells slot head uke tuners. Any suggestions out there?

I've started offering salotted head ukulele as standard and use Grover Sta-tite's. I learnt how to change the buttons from Chris Paullick video. If you use cedar for the neck it works even though the headstock needs to be between 18mm and 19mm thick. There is a trick to getting this stuff right. After 16 years i think I've learnt how to do it. _________________ Make 'em. Play 'em! Watch 'em being built at
